Girl, Interrupted is a 1999 film about an 18-year-old girl, Anna (played by Winona Ryder), who enters a psychiatric hospital for depression. While there, she meets Martha (played by Angelina Jolie), a 19-year-old girl who’s also being hold in the hospital against her will. Martha has been in the institution since she attempted suicide at age 9. Anna and Martha become friends, 

but eventually, the two girls have to return to the real world. The Reelcraze movie is based on a true story. Ryder based her performance on her real-life best friend and muse, Anne. Ryder and Jolie both won the Academy Award for Best Actress for their roles in the film. The film is also noteworthy as the first big-budget Hollywood film to direct by a woman, Angela Robinson.

 

The Grand Budapest Hotel

The Grand Budapest Hotel is a 2014 comedy film direct by Wes Anderson from a screenplay by Anderson and Hugo Wilck-Larsen. Set in the fictional European city of Zubrowka, the film is about an elderly concierge and his young apprentice who conspire to save the hotel from bankruptcy. The film is inspire by the writings of Stefan Zweig, a Austro-Hungarian novelist and playwright whose works were a major influence on Anderson’s style. The Grand Budapest Hotel was release on 15 July 2014 and was receive with positive reviews from critics. The film was nominate for two Academy Awards, including Best Costume Design.

Get Out is a first-person thriller direct by Jordan Peele that was release on 24 February 2017. The plot follows Arden (Daniel Kaluuya), a young man who visits his girlfriend’s family at their home in the coastal town of Grafton, North Carolina. Arden goes there to visit his girlfriend, Rose Arden (Allison Williams), and her family, who have recently arrived from New York City. 

Rose’s parents, Missy (Williams) and Dean Arden (Bradley Whitford), have a hidden past that Arden slowly discovers. Rose’s sister, Missy, has a dark secret of her own. The Reel Craze movie received positive reviews from critics,

with some praising it as one of the best horror films ever made, and others saying

that it wasn’t scary enough. It earned over $100 million in ticket sales

and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and an American Cinema Editors Award.

Groundhog Day is a 1993 American comedy film direct by Harold Ramis

and based on the novel of the same name by Punxsutawney Phil. It stars Bill Murray as Phil Connors, an arrogant weatherman who is stuck reliving the last day of his life repeatedly,

with nothing to change what he is force to experience each time. The film was release in theaters on 27 February 1993 and grossed $126 million against a budget of $11 million. It was nominate for three Academy Awards, including Best Original Screenplay for Ramis,

and won two Golden Globes, including Best Musical or Comedy. Groundhog Day has become one of the most beloved and successful comedies of all time.

Ghostbusters is a 1984 American comedy film directe by Ivan Reitman and write by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. It stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis, and Harold’s friend Ramis’s character, Ernie Brocker. Ghostbusters tells the story of a parapsychologist teaming up with a ghost exterminator to save New York City from ghosts. The film was pan by critics at the time of its release, but is now consider to be one of the greatest comedies ever make. but It was nominate for two Oscars and a Golden Globe, and was the highest-grossing film of 1984. but It continues to be popular today and has view by many as one of the best comedy movies ever make.
